FULLER TRACK IMPROVEMENTS and GATEWAY PLAZA

Hodges managed the development of the new Texas Tech track including re-construction with Mondo Super X Synthetic Track surfacing, the development of a separate Field Events Throwing Area and the design of the Gateway Plaza public entry to the track.

The Field Events Throwing Area features two javelin runways and two hammer throw/discus cages as well as two shot put pits.  TTU hosted the Big XII Athletic Conference Track meet in May 2009 shortly after construction was complete.
